January 2017 Fishing Report And Forecast
January forecast: best bet offshore is Wahoo, sailfish, kingfish, and mahi mahi. Best bet inshore is jacks and Spanish mackerel. Tarpon and snook will be good at night during Southerly winds.
November 2016 Fishing Report And Forecast
The cool winds of Fall are upon us and the fishing has really started to heat up for sailfish and Wahoo offshore. Inshore, pompano, permit, and even bonefish have been biting when the winds blow from the north. When the winds have been Northeast there have been a few mahi mahi biting near the reef only a mile offshore. We have been targeting sailfish with live bait and trolling for the Wahoo and the mahi with lures. Inshore along the intracoastal,we have been using cut shrimp to catch the pompano, permit, and bonefish. The snook and tarpon have been tougher to find with water temps cooling down, but after a heavy rain the snook bite should continue to be good even during cooler weather. 09/04/16 Mahi Mahi Offshore, Sailfish And Tuna Near Shore
Fishing has been excellent the last couple days! The ocean has been very calm and my customers have had a blast catching sailfish, mahi mahi, tuna, and bonito for our offshore and near shore charters. Yesterday we had 8 sailfish bites and landed a couple for some pictures. We caught 3 nice tuna with trolling and live baits yesterday afternoon. Today we went 10 miles offshore and found a school of mahi mahi under a log and we were able to land 5 using live baits. Here are the photos: 
08/22/16 Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, And Bonito
On Friday I took out a group of anglers for an offshore charter on my small boat and we had some incredible action catching 9 mahi mahi, 2 sailfish, 1 amberjack, 1 Skipjack Tuna, and 2 Bonito. We had the rods bending all day while fishing from 1 to 8 miles offshore. My clients brough their GoPro cameras and were nice enough to make an awesome YouTube video of our trip. Check it out here:
Bahamas Wahoo Fishing Charters In West End, Grand Bahama

We offer full day Bahamas wahoo fishing charters departing from Boynton Beach, FL to West End, Grand Bahama. These one day trips are available October through March, when hoardes of hungry wahoo gather along the steep drop offs along the Western Bahamas Bank. These wahoo fishing charters in the Bahamas depart from Florida at 5am and arrive in the Bahamas after a 3 hour boat ride. Once we dock in the Bahamas, it takes about 1 hour to clear customs and we are usually fishing by 10am. Wahoo fishing in this area consists of high speed trolling with lures and natural baits, and we usually spend around 6 hours trolling before making the ride back to Florida before dark. The limit for wahoo is 18 per boat, and it is our goal to reach that limit on every trip. We average about 4 to 6 bites per trip during Bahamas wahoo charter, but sometimes the fishing is red hot and we could catch our limit in a couple hours. Bahamas Wahoo travel in packs during the Winter months, and we often hook up to 4 wahoo at a time while trolling along the bank! Even when the wahoo fishing is slow, there are plenty of cool sights to see like Memory Rock and the picturesque White Sands Bank. Our trolling usually ends around Matanilla Shoal in the Northwest corner of the Bahamas. The wahoo in this part of the Bahamas average 20 to 40 lbs, but larger fish are always possible along the fertile drop offs of the Grand Bahama Bank. This area is known as the wahoo highway, and offers some of the most consistent wahoo fishing in the world. Ice and waters are provided during these charters, but it is up to the clients to bring their own food and beverages. Trolling for wahoo requires great patience, even in this part of the world. Wahoo typically only feed once during every 6 hour tide cycle, so it is common to go for hours without a bite. When the bite turns on, there is often mayhem with multiple hookups and most of the fish are caught within a short amount of time. Bahamas wahoo fishing charters are one of the most exciting ways to spend a day off the coast of Florida. Even when the wahoo bite is slow, our clients enjoy the experience every time. The ocean is always full of surprises during these chartered Bahamas trips. West End is only 55 miles from Florida, and this amazing fishery is just waiting to be further explored.

08/08/16 Fishing Report: Wahoo And Snook Take Center Stage
- August is the hottest month of the year in more ways than one. First off the biggest wahoo of the year will be following schools of bonito and flying fish only 1 mile off our beaches. The beaches will be holding some giant snook in less than a foot of water. This creates the perfect opportunity to target both species during the same trip. These are my favorite 2 species so this is my favorite time of year to go fishing. While targeting snook and wahoo, my customers can also expect to catch tuna, sailfish, tarpon, kingfish, barracuda, bonito, jacks, and possible even mahi mahi.
